Ladi Maji Foundation just concluded its initiative aimed at empowering widows and female heads of households through skill acquisition training and support. Recognizing the challenges faced by these individuals in overcoming poverty and achieving financial independence, the foundation has designed a comprehensive program to equip them with the necessary skills to establish and sustain small enterprises. By empowering these women, the foundation seeks to create a positive ripple effect, benefiting not only the individuals directly involved but also their families and communities at large.
The primary objective of the program was to empower widows and female heads of households by providing them with the necessary tools and knowledge to overcome poverty. Through skill acquisition training, these individuals will gain the confidence and expertise to establish and manage self-sustaining small enterprises.
Furthermore, the program also aimed to promote financial independence among widows and female heads of households. Through the provision of entrepreneurial skills, training in financial management, and opportunities to access microfinance, participants gained the empowerment necessary to generate income, elevate their living standards, and escape the constraints of poverty.
