BIOGRAPHY OF LATE MRS. LADI MAJI

Mrs. Ladi Maji Okolo was married to Major Maji Okolo (Rtd) and was blessed with Ten (10) children. She was very committed to the women’s fellowship (Zumuntan Mata) of St. Luke’s Protestant (Military Church) in 44 Barracks now known as Camilla Barracks. She was one of the “Mothers” of the Fellowship.

Mrs. Okolo strongly emphasized the importance of instilling fear and service to God in young girls and women. Every Tuesday, she would lead a group of six devout women in fervent prayers before embarking on visits to widows and the underprivileged in the community. They would evangelize and provide essential items such as food, detergents, and clothing. Additionally, on Saturdays, they extended their charitable acts to prisoners at Anguwan Sunday Prison in Kaduna State, Nigeria.

Driven by her desire to deepen her understanding of God, Mrs. Okolo enrolled in Faith and Deliverance Ministries (FADEM) in Kaduna and successfully completed her studies. She dedicated her life to serving God and humanity, a passion she pursued until her passing.

Our Mission

We look at utilising the immense power of philanthropy and goodwill towards creating a pool of resources that will be applied in bringing relief to the needy, the weak and the neglected in the society.

Our Vision

To achieve an equitable and just society where no one is left behind and to create a foundation where the strong will uphold the weak, the ‘haves’ will cater for the ‘have-nots’.

At Ladi Maji  Foundation, We Strive to Make the World a Better Place.

How We started

Our Journey

Established in 2016 under the Corporate Affairs Commission, LADI MAJI FOUNDATION, a non-profit organization based in Nigeria, commenced its activities in Kaduna State where it extended support to widows, underprivileged individuals, and youths. Over time, the foundation expanded its operations to Abuja, Jos and Zaria. Since its inception, the organization has made a significant impact by empowering over 1000 women and youths, both through direct assistance and indirect support. Presently, a portion of these beneficiaries continue to receive ongoing sponsorship from the foundation.

Through our dedicated efforts, we aim to create a foundation where the strong uphold the weak and the “haves” extend a helping hand to the “have-nots.” By embracing the values of compassion, empathy, and unity, we work towards building a better world for all. We believe that everyone deserves equal opportunities and support, and we strive to make a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve.

At Ladi Maji Foundation, we understand the importance of collaboration and community involvement. By joining forces with like-minded individuals and organizations, we amplify our impact and create lasting change. Through strategic partnerships and innovative initiatives, we address critical social issues, promote sustainable development, and empower individuals to overcome challenges.
