In a heartwarming conclusion to 2023, Ladi Maji Foundation’s Kaduna branch hosted its annual intervention that touched the lives of over 300 widows and orphans. This event was a testament to the Foundation’s commitment to empowering and supporting those in need. The day kicked off with an opening prayer and welcoming remarks by Pastor Tina Bolanta of Restoration Bible Church. Dignitaries, including local pastors and representatives, graced the occasion, setting the stage for a day filled with hope and support. Professor Hauwa Yusuf from Kaduna State University (KASU) delivered an inspiring talk, uplifting the spirits of the attendees followed by a medical outreach service for the widows.
The highlight of the program was the distribution of starter kits to four deserving widows, eliciting tears of gratitude and prayers for the Foundation’s benevolence. Additionally, scholarship awards were presented to local orphanages, including Faith Works Orphanage, Mercy Home Orphanage and Good News Academy. Miss Bature, a final year student at Kaduna State University (KASU) also received financial assistance. Essential supplies such as food items and clothing were generously provided to widows, further enhancing the impact of the intervention.
Beyond the material support, the event fostered a sense of unity and relief in the community, showcasing the power of philanthropy to make a meaningful difference. As prayers were shared, refreshments were enjoyed, and items distributed, the day concluded on a note of gratitude and hope for a brighter future.
Ladi Maji Foundation’s year-end intervention in Kaduna was not just a success story; it was a testament to the transformative power of compassion and generosity in building stronger, more resilient communities.
