Transforming Lives: Ladi Maji Foundation’s Mental Health Awareness Seminar | 25th March, 2024

The latest seminar on Mental Health Awareness for widows, hosted by Ladi Maji Foundation in Abuja, featured distinguished guests like Professor Hauwa Yusuf and Dr. Abdullahi Tijjani Muhammad Gwarzo  (Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development of the Federal Republic of Nigeria), who was represented by Dr. Edna Deimi (Special Assistant for International Cooperation and Partnership) were present, with Professor Yusuf delivering a powerful message of resilience and integrity to the widows in attendance, urging them to remain focused and steadfast in their endeavors. Professor Hauwa encouraged those engaged in small businesses to persevere, emphasizing the dignity of labor regardless of the scale of the enterprise.

The seminar featured inspiring testimonials, donations and Hajiya Habiba’s call for entrepreneurial empowerment.

Testimonials from beneficiaries like Mrs. Blessing Uche and Mrs. Chioma Ezembakwe underscored the Foundation’s transformative role in their lives. Pastor Pepps Henry’s testimony and the generous donations to various individuals and the IDP Camp added to the event’s significance.

In a gesture of kindness, gift items and donations were presented to widows and communities, symbolizing the Foundation’s commitment to alleviating burdens.
