About Seed to Scale
Seed to Scale is a quarterly youth entrepreneurship and digital engagement program designed to identify, support, and showcase young entrepreneurs with scalable business ideas. The program provides seed funding between ₦200,000 and ₦500,000, mentorship, visibility, and practical learning opportunities to help young people move from idea stage to sustainable small businesses.
Seed to Scale combines youth empowerment, entrepreneurship development, and digital storytelling through a reality-style pitch format optimized for social media reach, community engagement, and partner visibility.

How Seed to Scale Works
- Open Call for Applications
Young people apply online through a short, easy-to-complete application form. - Screening & Shortlisting
Applications are reviewed based on feasibility, creativity, and social impact. Up to 20 entrepreneurs are shortlisted, 5 become finalists, and 3 winners are selected per cycle. - Pitch & Digital Recording
Shortlisted participants pitch their business ideas before judges. Pitches are recorded and shared as digital content. - Selection & Seed Funding
Winning ideas receive seed funding based on viability and potential impact. - Monitoring, Mentorship & Visibility
Selected participants are monitored, supported and featured across digital platforms.
Who Can Apply
- Young adults passionate about entrepreneurship and business growth.
- Residents of the program location (e.g. Kaduna).
- Individuals with business ideas or small businesses that can start or scale with ₦200,000 – ₦500,000.
- Applicants willing to pitch publicly and participate in documentation.
